The Nepalese Army Institute of Health Sciences (NAIHS), established in 2067 BS, is a non-profit medical institution founded to enhance Nepal’s healthcare system through the Nepalese Army Medical Corps. Built in honor of martyred soldiers, it pioneered services such as fiber-optic endoscopy and semi-automatic pathology labs. Funded and managed by the Nepalese Army Welfare Fund, NAIHS operates multiple colleges, including the College of Medicine and College of Dental, offering MBBS and MD/MS programs aligned with international standards.
